SIYAA Cheerleading is open to all girls in grades K-6. Cheer season is typically run in conjunction with the SIYAA Football season and cheer teams participate in all football events.

Cheerleaders play an instrumental role in raising, leading and maintaining school spirit while participating in an active athletic program.

Typically cheer teams are divided along grade lines:

• K-2nd Grade: instructional, participate at flag football games
• 3rd-4th Grades: Jr. Varsity, participate at JV football games
• 5th-6th Grades: Varsity, participate at Varsity football games
